Frontend

Currently, the most widely adopted frontend solutions are:

  • React
  • Angular
  • Vue

React is by far the most widely adopted solution. It debuted back in 2013, with Meta (Facebook and others) serving as its primary developer. It is a complex ecosystem, and mastering it comes with a fairly steep learning curve.

Angular debuted in 2016 and is the most complex and difficult framework to learn among those listed. Developed primarily by Google, it is the most robust option available and is typically reserved for the most demanding enterprise applications.

In contrast, Vue is a simpler framework with an easy learning curve. It debuted in 2014, and while it has the smallest out-of-the-box feature set and lacks the backing of a tech giant, its sheer simplicity makes it a favorite among developers building lightweight, responsive sites. That said, it is still incredibly powerful, and choosing it won’t impose any major limitations compared to its previously mentioned competitors.

Choosing from these options is straightforward. For our small team, Vue is the ideal solution — especially since it already proved its worth during our time with the Nuxt full-stack framework.
